Jérôme
I’m the founder of Baroudeur Cycling, a travel agency specializing in road and gravel cycling trips in France and Europe. I'm passionate about both travel and cycling, and I've been fortunate to combine these two passions throughout my professional career.
During my 11 years at the highest level of professional cycling, I participated in 4 Tours de France, 2 Vueltas, and raced in all the iconic monuments of cycling. I won several combativity awards in the Tour de France and achieved 5 professional victories, including a stage win at Paris-Nice.
These experiences have shaped me and shown me that cycling is more than just a sport — it's a way of life.After living in Portugal for 3 years, a country I fell in love with, I now love heading out on my bike with my panniers, spending the whole day riding, and stopping at local restaurants to enjoy regional cuisine.
It’s this type of adventure that I aim to share through Baroudeur Cycling.
As a certified cycling coach, I'm currently sponsored by Giant, and I’m passionate about passing on my knowledge and love for cycling to others.
My goal is to offer unforgettable experiences that focus on enjoyment, discovery, and performance.

As a former elite-level amateur cyclist, I bring my experience to crafting unique adventures that blend discovery, comfort, and excitement. I hold a state-recognized guide certification from France and a diploma in bicycle mechanics, so I ensure that every ride is not only enjoyable but also expertly managed.
Fluent in English, Portuguese, and French, I’m able to connect with a wide range of cyclists. With my deep knowledge of the Algarve, I’m always eager to show you the most beautiful routes and hidden gems of this stunning region, creating unforgettable experiences for every rider.
